Thunderstorm alert for Bradford, Susquehanna and Wyoming counties
National Weather Service warns of thunderstorms and gusty showers with 40–50 mph gusts that could topple weak trees and cause isolated outages.
A weather alert was issued by the National Weather Service on Tuesday at 9:25 p.m. for thunderstorms and gusty showers until 11:30 p.m. for Bradford, Susquehanna and Wyoming counties.
"A line of showers and thunderstorms is moving east through Western NY and PA as of 930 pm, with observed gusts of 40 to 50 mph. These gusty showers will continue for several more hours as they move through the rest of the Finger Lakes and the western Twin Tiers of NY and PA. Dead and weak trees may fall leading to road obstacles and isolated power outages," according to the weather service.
