Timothy Hollis arrested on charges of financially exploiting elderly client
West Lampeter police say the suspect, hired as a driver for an elderly woman, allegedly took money and assets and misused her credit card.
The West Lampeter Police Department, with assistance from Strasburg Borough PD, arrested 52-year-old Timothy Hollis of Fleetwood at about 7:20 p.m. on Sept. 30, 2026, on an outstanding criminal warrant (Ref. 2607036315) issued Aug. 28 after charges were filed before MDJ Benner. Authorities allege Hollis, who was hired in January 2026 as a driver for an elderly woman, gained her trust and received money and assets — including a vehicle — then allegedly used the victim’s credit card for a fraudulent purchase of more than $350, pawned her rings for over $1,000 without permission, and took $4,700 purportedly for rent that was not used for that purpose. Charges include 3922.1(A) financial exploitation of an older adult (F3), 3921(A) theft by unlawful taking (M1), 3925(A) receiving stolen property (M1) and 4006(A)(1)(II) access device fraud (M1); the original warrant notice asked anyone with information to contact West Lampeter Township Police at 717-464-2421.
