Tony Johnson Arrested After Missing Hearing in Camp Hill Shoplifting Case
Lower Allen Township police served a warrant July 7, 2026 for 58-year-old Tony Johnson after he failed to appear for a preliminary hearing in a shoplifting case from Nov. 22, 2025 at Capital City Mall.
On Nov. 22, 2025, police were called to LIDS at Capital City Mall after video showed a man take three Philadelphia Eagles hats, valued at $150, and conceal them in his jacket before leaving in a white rental Jeep; the renter was later identified as 58-year-old Tony Johnson. Charges were filed and a summons issued, but Johnson failed to appear for his Feb. 26, 2026 preliminary hearing and a warrant for 18 3929 (A)(1) retail theft (shoplifting) was issued; the warrant was served by Lower Allen Township Police on July 7, 2026.
