Tony Johnson arrested after warrant served in Camp Hill retail-theft case

Lower Allen Township police served a warrant July 7 for a man accused of stealing three Philadelphia Eagles hats from a Capital City Mall store in November 2025.

Tony Johnson, 58, was identified as the suspect in a November 22, 2025 shoplifting at LIDS in Capital City Mall where three Philadelphia Eagles hats valued at $150 were concealed and taken. A rental white Jeep linked the theft to Johnson, a summons was issued, and after he failed to appear for a February 26, 2026 preliminary hearing, Magistrate Delozier signed an arrest warrant. The Lower Allen Township Police Department served the warrant July 7, 2026 (Docket CR-39-2026, Ref. LA-25-06484); the charge is 18 3929 (A)(1) retail theft.
