Trafford man sentenced to 6–20 years for aggravated assault
A Trafford man who pleaded guilty to stabbing a neighbor in December 2023 was sentenced to six to 20 years and ordered to undergo mental health and anger management treatment.
Westmoreland County District Attorney Nicole W. Ziccarelli announced that 50-year-old Anthony Salvadore pleaded guilty to aggravated assault, simple assault and related charges stemming from a December 2023 incident on Seventh Street in Trafford Borough. Common Pleas Judge Christopher Feliciani sentenced Salvadore to serve six to 20 years in prison and ordered mental health and anger management treatment. Police say a victim was stabbed in the neck and head and taken to Forbes Hospital; bystanders reported Salvadore stabbed the victim and struck a woman, and officers found him on a nearby couch with a bloody folding knife.
