Trailside Village about 25% leased as new phases open

Larken Associates said that Phase I at Trailside Village is now nearly 70% leased after accepting its first residents in May. 

Trailside is the newest Larken Living community. It’s located at 2000 Trailside Drive in Forks Township. 

 Phase II began welcoming residents Aug. 15, and 26 of its first 75 available apartments are leased.  

With leasing now underway across both phases, the 420-unit community is approximately 25% leased overall. 

The real estate firm said residential occupancy is scheduled to begin Oct. 15 in Trailside Village’s first mixed-use building.  

The milestone will further advance Larken Associates’ goal of creating a walkable community that brings residential, retail, office and medical uses together in one location.  

An additional Phase II garden apartment building is scheduled to welcome residents beginning Dec. 7. 

 The 22-building community features one- and two-bedroom garage and garden apartments.  

 Also part of Trailside Village is the community clubhouse, which includes a resident lounge, game room, work pod rooms and a fitness center with free weights and fixed-weight machines.  

There is also a heated outdoor pool with a tanning ledge, a covered pavilion with a fireplace and lounge seating, a tot lot, a pet salon and spa, and walking and biking trails. Trailside Village also includes approximately 27,000 square feet of on-site retail, office and medical space across two buildings.
