State Police at Dublin say they are investigating the recent theft of two catalytic converters from a truck dealership in upper Bucks County.

According to a news release, the 2024 Isuzu catalytic converters were reported stolen from Coopersburg Kenworth, 1930 Rt. 309, Springfield Township, on July 10.

The July 30 news release said the two catalytic converters were worth $20,000.

Catalytic converters are a frequent target of thieves because they contain precious metals such as platinum that can be sold for quick cash.

Police said their theft investigation is ongoing, and that no additional information was being released.
