The Trump administration has introduced new travel restrictions tied to the Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, temporarily preventing U.S. citizens and nationals who have recently been in the country from boarding commercial flights to the United States, Politico reported. The policy requires affected travelers to remain outside the Congo for 21 days before returning to the U.S. on commercial air service.
