Umpire carted off after slip halts Jaguars-Texans at Wembley
An NFL official slipped on wet grass between plays in the first quarter and was carted off the field at Wembley Stadium.
The Jacksonville Jaguars-Houston Texans game in London came to an unexpected stop Sunday morning, and it had nothing to do with an injured player. Umpire Larry Smith went down during the first quarter at Wembley Stadium and eventually had to be carted from the field. NBC Sports reported that Smith slipped on the wet grass between plays.
