After more than a decade of investigation, West Manchester Township Police, the York County District Attorney’s Office and the York County Coroner’s Office confirmed that skeletal remains discovered 13 years ago at Loucks Rd and Haviland Rd belong to David Anthony Queen, 42, of Baltimore, who went missing on November 6, 2006. The identification was made using advanced DNA analysis and forensic genealogy through the DNA Doe Project, which revised earlier ancestry conclusions in April 2020 and helped locate potential relatives; the victim’s family has been notified. Investigators ask anyone who knew Queen—friends, acquaintances, or co-workers—to contact Detective Sgt. Conway at 717-792-9514 as the homicide investigation continues.
