Unknown skeletal remains identified as David Anthony Queen
Advanced DNA analysis and forensic genealogy identified skeletal remains found at Loucks Rd and Haviland Rd as David Anthony Queen; authorities seek anyone who knew him to aid the homicide probe.
West Manchester Township Police, the York County District Attorney’s Office and the York County Coroner’s Office announced they have identified skeletal remains discovered 13 years ago at Loucks Rd and Haviland Rd as David Anthony Queen, 42, of Baltimore. Advanced DNA testing and forensic genealogy, aided by the DNA Doe Project (which took the case seven years ago), established the victim’s identity and corrected earlier assessments about his ancestry; Queen went missing Nov. 6, 2006 and was last seen heading to work at McDonald’s. Authorities have notified his family and ask anyone who may have been friends, acquaintances or co-workers to contact Detective Sgt. Conway at 717-792-9514 to provide information for the ongoing homicide investigation.
