Volkswagen and XPeng refine jointly developed EV software in Hefei
In Hefei’s electric-vehicle hub, engineers and robots are finalizing software created together by Volkswagen and XPeng.
In a sprawling office in Hefei, the eastern Chinese electric vehicle hub, hundreds of employees and several robotic arms were refining software developed jointly by German automaker Volkswagen and Chinese EV maker XPeng. The work highlights a direct collaboration between a foreign carmaker and a Chinese electric-vehicle firm at one of China’s key EV centers.
