New Jersey students showed improvements in the latest round of state standardized testing — nearly six years after the COVID-19 pandemic led to a backslide in test scores, according to new state data.
Public school students take the New Jersey Student Learning Assessments, known as the NJSLA, starting in the third grade. The annual standardized tests measure learning in math, English Language Arts and science.
