On Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2026, the Waynesboro Police Department responded to numerous directed patrols and calls from just after midnight through 11:59 p.m. Incidents included a reported domestic at 1:23 AM on the 200 block of Philadelphia Avenue, an assist to another agency on the 1st block of N. Main Street (11:03 AM), abandoned vehicles, returned phone calls, a burglar alarm on the 200 block of W. Eighth Street (2:23 PM), multiple traffic stops, a 911 hang-up on the 1st block of W. Second Street (7:12 PM), and an assist to EMS on the 200 block of Highland Avenue (10:27 PM). Officers conducted directed patrols at locations including Walnut Street, S. Potomac Street, N. Grant Street, E. Main Street and Memorial Park Drive.
