Waynesboro man charged with vehicle theft and unauthorized use

Matthew F. Seager, 40, of Waynesboro, has been charged with one count each of theft by unlawful taking and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. The charges follow a report that a vehicle was stolen Aug. 4 at 11:37 a.m. on W. Main Street; the incident was logged Aug. 13, 2026, under case WPD-202606708 with the Waynesboro Police Department.
