We taught our sons to write thank-you notes — and it worked
Worried that young people no longer write proper thank-you notes, parents prepared example notes for their sons' bar mitzvahs.
Dear Miss Manners: My husband and I have noticed that youth today cannot write a proper thank-you letter. When our sons had their bar mitzvahs, we wrote out examples of thank-you notes for them. One example was if they received a physical gift, and one was for if they received cash.
