West Lampeter PD welcomes Officer Erin Godfrey

After six months at the Reading Police Academy, Officer Erin Godfrey had a ceremonial swearing-in at the West Lampeter Board of Supervisors meeting on July 13; MDJ Benner officiated and she had been officially sworn in two weeks earlier. Godfrey, who studied in Lancaster County and served four years in the U.S. Marine Corps, had her badge pinned by her husband Seth — also a Marine and a Manheim Township police officer — as the department welcomed her to the community.
