West Lampeter Police Department welcomes Officer Erin Godfrey

Officer Erin Godfrey completed six months at the Reading Police Academy and had a ceremonial swearing-in at the West Lampeter Board of Supervisors meeting on July 13; she had been officially sworn in two weeks earlier by MDJ Benner in front of friends and family. Godfrey, who went to school in Lancaster County and served four years in the U.S. Marine Corps, was pinned with her badge by her husband Seth, also a Marine and a Manheim Township police officer, and is being welcomed to the West Lampeter community.
