Williamsport man sought on meth delivery, communications charges
Lycoming County Narcotics Enforcement Unit is asking for help locating William Gonzales after an undercover methamphetamine buy led to multiple arrests and recovery of pre-recorded police funds.
A warrant has been issued for 54-year-old William Gonzales of Williamsport on charges of delivery of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and criminal use of a communication facility. Investigators allege Gonzales met a confidential informant to collect pre‑recorded buy money, then provided those funds to Kirsten Tyson, who bought methamphetamine from Jamal Lumpkin at 678 Grier Street; Lumpkin was later taken into custody. Detectives recovered the pre‑recorded funds in Jonathan Springman’s wallet and a bag of crack cocaine belonging to Cheryl Holleran; Springman and Holleran have been charged. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Lycoming County District Attorney’s Office at 570-320-8120; Gonzales is urged to turn himself in. All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
