On July 15, 2026 at 10:01 p.m., New Castle officers responded to gunfire outside Oak Leaf Gardens at 1103 Pin Oak Dr. A female inside an apartment was struck in the leg, treated by officers and transported to the hospital; she is believed to be in stable condition.
