Wyomissing police seek ID of person of interest in BARTA bus backpack theft
Authorities seek the public’s help identifying a person of interest in the theft of a backpack from a BARTA bus in Wyomissing.
The Wyomissing Police Department is asking the public to identify the individual pictured as a person of interest in the theft of a backpack from a BARTA bus on June 27, 2026, at about 10:25 p.m. on the 800 block of Penn Avenue (Case 39-26-5318). Anyone with information should call Wyomissing PD at 610-375-6102, submit a tip on the department’s Crimewatch page, call Crime Alert Berks at 877-373-9913 for an anonymous tip, or text a tip to 847411 beginning the message with ALERTBERKS.
