A directionless young woman impulsively follows a chance encounter to a Tuscan villa, despite her best friend’s warnings.
Anna has abandoned her dreams of becoming a chef and is drifting through her twenties, making a series of bad choices. After she suddenly loses a house-sitting job (and her housing), a chance meeting with Matteo — a handsome Italian who owns an empty villa in Tuscany — prompts her to travel to Italy despite objections from her always-honest best friend, Claire.
