Anna is a young woman who has abandoned her dream of becoming a chef and is drifting through her twenties after a string of bad choices. When she loses her house‑sitting job (and her housing) in one blow, a chance encounter with Matteo — a handsome Italian who has a villa sitting empty in Tuscany — inspires her to jet off to Italy despite the warnings of her always‑honest best friend, Claire.
