On June 21, 2026, at approximately 10:24 a.m., Mechanicsburg police were dispatched to a residence for an active domestic call and found a victim with visible injuries after an argument turned physical. The victim’s boyfriend, 22-year-old Zahir May, was taken into custody, transported to the Cumberland County Prison and arraigned by Magisterial District Judge John Hanner; bail was set at $15,000 unsecured and a preliminary hearing will be scheduled.
