16-Year-Old Summoned After Airsoft BB Pistol Found at Lititz Springs Pool
Lititz Borough police say a 16-year-old was found with an airsoft BB pistol in his backpack at Lititz Springs Pool on Aug. 14; he was released to a parent and summoned to court. Authorities said no one was threatened and there was no public danger.
On Aug. 14, 2026 at about 6:36 p.m., Lititz Borough Police responded to a report at Lititz Springs Pool that a juvenile was believed to be in possession of a gun after a lifeguard observed it. Officers located the 16-year-old and confirmed the item was an airsoft BB pistol in his backpack; the juvenile was released to a parent and summoned before the Magisterial District Judge. Police said no one was threatened and there was no public danger during the incident.
