An exciting calendar of discussions and festivities are planned for this upcoming week on campus. A wide array of activities will be hosted, including Laf’s Got Talent and Escape From Winter. Check out these fun events happening this week:
- Faculty Panel: Rise of Asian Culture in Mainstream Media: Engage in a conversation about Asian culture in the mainstream media hosted by the Asian Cultural Association. Lafayette’s Seo-Hyun Park, professor and department head of government and law, and Paul Barclay, professor of history, will lead the discussion. 4:15-5:15 p.m. Wed., April 8 • Simon Center 300 • MORE
- Lunch and Learn—Community Needs Beyond the Academic Calendar: Join MOSAIC Food and Housing Security Team to learn about the challenges the Easton community experiences during the summer school break. Matthew Larsen, associate professor of economics, will share the ways in which the Lafayette community can work to provide resources for Easton to be successful during the summer season. 12:15-1 p.m. Thurs., April 9 • Acopian 327 • MORE
- Laf’s Got Talent: Perform your special skills or hidden talents at Music Appreciation Floor’s Laf’s Got Talent! Participants can showcase their talent, or watch and vote on their favorite performances. A raffle and prizes will also be provided. 7-10 p.m. Fri., April 10 • Leopard’s Lair • MORE
- Softball vs. Bucknell: Cheer on the Leopards as the softball team takes on a doubleheader against Bucknell. 12-4 p.m. Sat., April 11 • Softball Field • MORE
- Escape From Winter: Participate in an escape room on the Quad hosted by Lafayette Activities Forum. Food trucks, crafts, and animals will also be on the Quad to celebrate the beginning of spring. 6:30-8:30 p.m. Sat., April 11 • Quad • MORE
