Aggressive Driving — Slow Down to Save Lives
Speeding reduces reaction time, increases stopping distance and raises crash and injury risk—slow down to save lives.
Speeding is the most common aggressive driving behavior, defined as exceeding posted speed limits or driving too fast for conditions. It reduces a driver's ability to maneuver, lengthens stopping and reaction distances, and contributes to 31% of driving incidents and 62% of fatal crashes, the Stroud Area Regional Police Department warns; slowing down can prevent crashes and save lives.
