Troy Davis-Spade, 34, of Akron was charged with three counts of driving under the influence of a controlled substance and two traffic offenses after officers say he rear-ended another vehicle on the 600 block of E. Main Street in Ephrata on Aug. 13, 2026. Police say he performed poorly on field sobriety tests, was arrested, and provided a blood sample that tested positive for marijuana, amphetamine and methamphetamine. Charges were filed Sept. 8, 2026 through MDJ Landis' office; Davis-Spade is presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
