Andrew Steven Fowler Arrested on Burglary, Escape and Resisting Arrest Charges
Fowler allegedly entered a barn without permission, was found with items from inside, broke free from custody and fought officers while being re-detained; bail was set at $100,000.
The East Earl Township Police Department arrested 37-year-old Andrew Steven Fowler of Philadelphia on October 21, 2026, charging him with burglary, escape and resisting arrest after officers responded at 11:28 AM to a suspicious person call on the 1600 block of Union Grove Road and found him inside a barn with items from the property. While in custody Fowler allegedly broke his handcuffs, escaped from a secured location and fought with officers when they attempted to re-detain him. MDJ Torrey Landis arraigned Fowler, set bail at $100,000, he was unable to post bail and was committed to Lancaster County Prison.
