On July 4, 2026, at about 6:57 p.m., officers responded to the 300 block of De Maria Drive in Forks Township after a vehicle struck a parked car, leaving both vehicles inoperable. The driver, Angela Marie Volpe, 51, showed signs of impairment, admitted to drinking, and after field sobriety tests was taken into custody and transported for a legal blood draw that returned a BAC of 0.187%. She was charged with one count of DUI—general impairment (M) and one count of DUI—highest rate (M).
