On July 25, 2026, Lower Allen Township police were called to the Walmart at 3400 Hartzdale Drive after loss prevention provided video of a male stealing a bow, a BB gun and other items on July 24, totaling $241.82. Officers connected the suspect to a black Volvo with a known plate and identified the registered owner as 24-year-old Anthony William Padilla-Pineda, who was already in custody at Cumberland County Prison following an arrest by Silver Spring Township Police. Padilla-Pineda, who has two prior retail-theft convictions, was charged — making this incident a felony — and was arraigned while incarcerated.
