Bensalem man arrested in sexual abuse of children investigation
Bensalem Township Police say a 27-year-old man used Snapchat and Roblox to contact juveniles and has been charged with multiple felonies.
On Oct. 1, 2026, Bensalem Township Police arrested 27-year-old Valeed Anjum after detectives determined he had used Snapchat and Roblox to contact multiple juveniles ages 10 to 15, allegedly sending explicit photos and at times paying minors to send explicit images. A search warrant led to his arrest; Anjum admitted to meeting and engaging in sexual acts with a 12-year-old in New Jersey earlier this year and now faces multiple charges including Unlawful Contact with a Minor (F1), Sexual Abuse of a Child (F2) and Criminal Use of Communication Facility (F3); bail was set at 10% of $10,000,000 and he was remanded to the Bucks County Correctional Facility. Investigators say he used the aliases "Puma" and the Snapchat usernames "poomdoom69" and "brain.rotty," believe there may be additional victims, and ask anyone with information to contact Det.
