Black Student Union urges change after racist image circulates on campus
Lehigh’s Black Student Union says a racist image of George Floyd posted on a BORG and circulated on Yik Yak highlights persistent problems on campus and calls for changes, particularly within Greek life.
Representatives from Lehigh’s Black Student Union say changes are needed after a racist image of George Floyd on a BORG circulated on Yik Yak. Aminata Coulibaly, ’25 and graduate advisor for the union, said racist incidents have occurred on campus for years—often in Greek life—and have negatively affected campus culture.
