No-AI Flyer Design Contest
Residents are invited to submit hand-created (no-AI) flyers for multiple borough events; submissions will be posted online and a public vote on October 30 will pick the winner of a $25 Lorenzo’s gift card.
To AI or not to AI, that is the question. Residents have been talking a lot about this recently, and we want you to know we hear you. We will do better.
It’s also a great opportunity for residents to take up the cause and support this movement. “How?” you ask. A NO AI FLYER DESIGN CONTEST!! Design a flyer for one (or all) of the events listed below and email that design to [email protected]. We will post the designs on this page, and we will hold a vote on October 30 to choose the best design. The winner will receive a $25 gift card for Lorenzo’s.
Flyers from all participants will be posted and used on all Borough Social platforms (Ok…. really just Facebook.)

Events for which we need flyers
Trunk or Treat – October 30, 2026, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. – Join us at the Fountain Hill Fire Company at 950 Cherokee Street, in your spookiest costume, and join us for a safe trick-or-treat event!
Tree Lighting – December 6, 2026 at 4:30 p.m. – The Borough of Fountain Hill will once again host a tree lighting on December 6th at 4:30. Join us in front of the fire company at 950 Cherokee St. to ring in the Holiday Season. Broughal Middle School Band will be there to add to the cheer. There will also be an appearance by a special guest. HO HO HO!
Christmas Tree Sale – The Fountain Hill Fire Company will host a Christmas Tree Sale starting on Friday, November 21, 2026. Check their Facebook page for details.
Holiday Decorating Contest – Keep an eye on the borough’s Facebook page for the dates of the Holiday Decorating Contests! One for Halloween and one for Christmas. $50 Amazon Gift Cards will be awarded to 3 locations!
Santa Run – The Fountain Hill Fire Company will escort Santa to deliver gifts to children in Fountain Hill in the month of December. To participate, drop a wrapped gift with the address, child’s name, and contact number to the Fire Company at 950 Cherokee Street on Monday, November 14, 21, or 28, or December 7, between 6 and 8 p.m.
