Grant funds AEDs for every Brookhaven patrol car, plus a spare
The Brookhaven Borough Police Department received funding from the Delaware County Interactive Gaming Revenue Authority to purchase automated external defibrillators (AEDs) for every police vehicle. Previously the agency relied on two shared AEDs—one nearly 20 years old—and those older units helped save lives multiple times this year. Each patrol car will now carry an assigned AED with a backup unit available, and the department thanked Allegiance CPR & Training for their assistance.
