Grant Funds Put AEDs in Every Brookhaven Police Vehicle
A Delaware County Interactive Gaming Revenue Authority grant allowed Brookhaven Borough Police to place an AED in each patrol car and add a backup unit.
The Brookhaven Borough Police Department received funding from the Delaware County Interactive Gaming Revenue Authority to purchase automated external defibrillators for every patrol vehicle, plus a spare. The agency had been sharing two AEDs — one nearly 20 years old — that have helped save lives multiple times this year. The department thanked Allegiance CPR & Training for assistance obtaining the life‑saving devices.
