Checking account breached; $5,000 transferred to Ohio account
Resident on Duchess Drive reported an unknown person changed their contact information and transferred $5,000 to an Ohio bank account.
On Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2026 at 2:03 p.m., a complainant on the 800 block of Duchess Drive in Yardley reported a breach of their checking account. An unknown person changed the account holder's address, phone number and email, then transferred $5,000.00 to another bank account in Ohio; the incident was reported to the Lower Makefield Township Police Department.
