Person taken into custody after barricade during attempted 302 warrant service on Adelia St
Middletown police and the Dauphin County Crisis Response Team responded after a subject barricaded while officers attempted service of a 302 mental health warrant; the person was taken into custody without incident.
On November 1, 2026, Middletown Borough Police attempted to serve a 302 Mental Health Warrant at a residence in the 600 block of Adelia Street. The subject barricaded himself in a room and would not respond; police requested and received assistance from the Dauphin County Crisis Response Team and the individual was later taken into custody without incident. Lower Swatara Police, Highspire Police, PSU Campus Police and the Dauphin County District Attorney's Office assisted with the response.
