Chiefs' win overshadowed by Tyquan Thornton's dislocated ankle
Kansas City remained unbeaten, but a serious ankle injury to fourth-year receiver Tyquan Thornton clouded the win.
The Kansas City Chiefs stayed unbeaten Sunday, but the team’s celebration was overshadowed by a serious injury to wide receiver Tyquan Thornton. The fourth-year receiver suffered a dislocated left ankle during the Chiefs’ 30-27 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders and is expected to undergo more testing this week. ESPN and NFL Network reported that team doctors put the ankle back into place after the injury.
