Cumberland County DA's Office Joins National Night Out
DA Seán M. McCormack and office staff met residents countywide to strengthen community partnerships and educate families about safe infant sleep.
Members of the Cumberland County District Attorney’s Office — including attorneys, victim advocates, detectives and forensic lab staff — spread across the county for National Night Out to promote law enforcement–community partnerships and neighborhood safety. District Attorney Seán M. McCormack said, “Getting out and connecting with members of the community is an important part of our job.” The office also used the events to educate parents on ‘Safe Sleep’ guidelines (Alone, Back, Crib) to reduce infant sleep-related deaths.
