Twenty young participants took part in hands‑on emergency‑services training including CPR, intubation demos, AED use, IV/IO instruction and mock‑trial preparation.
On Day 4 of Upper Providence Township’s Third Annual Emergency Services Academy, 20 youth engaged in full hands‑on training: a guided full‑code scenario, a LUCAS automatic CPR device demo with hands‑on CPR, endotracheal intubation demonstrations, an AED overview, and instruction on IV and IO fluid delivery. Participants also met with Montgomery County assistant district attorneys to prepare for Friday’s mock trial. Day 5 will feature the mock trial and graduation; the academy thanked partners UPT Parks and Rec, UPT Police Department, Friendship Ambulance and Senator Katie Muth for their support.
