Dennis John Hockensmith Jr. arrested on child luring and custody interference charges

Dennis John Hockensmith Jr., 67, was arrested following an investigation in the 200 block of High Street in Hanover and charged with luring a child into a motor vehicle or structure and interference with the custody of children, both felonies. He was arraigned by Magistrate Gessner on October 14, 2026 (case 24-26-05385) and committed to York County Prison in lieu of $75,000 bail. The Hanover Borough Police Department handled the investigation.
