Desiree Ford located safe
Chester police say a 35-year-old reported missing on Sept. 19 has been found safe; family had expressed concern she might be experiencing paranoia and suicidal thoughts.
Chester police report that 35-year-old Desiree Ford, who was last seen Saturday at approximately 4:00 p.m. heading toward Melrose Ave., has been located safe and the missing-person case closed. Ford was described as a Black female, possibly wearing traditional Muslim clothing, last seen in a black shirt, black tights and a black sweatshirt tied around her waist. Family had reported she may have been experiencing paranoia and possibly suicidal; anyone with information during the search was asked to contact Chester Police at 610-447-8424 or call 911.
