East Hempfield Township Police report for 9/11/26–9/17/26 including a major vehicle theft, a forgery warrant and several citations for solicitation, underage alcohol possession, disorderly conduct and harassment.
Between Sept. 11 and Sept. 17, East Hempfield police investigated several incidents, including a forced entry and theft of four vehicles from America’s Auto Auction with an estimated loss of $377,050. Officers also charged Perry Bannister with second‑degree forgery from a July bank incident and cited individuals for solicitation, possession of alcohol under 21, disorderly conduct and harassment. All persons charged are presumed innocent.
