A former New York City cop’s murder charge has been downgraded to manslaughter in a fatal road rage shooting.
NJ.com reports retired NYPD detective Victor Romero, 62, of Haverstraw, N.Y., appeared in court Thursday. He pleaded not guilty to one count of manslaughter with the intent to cause physical injury.
