A U.S. Army battalion in Georgia is offering a video game-themed incentive to encourage soldiers to extend their military service, tying a four-day pass to the highly anticipated release of Grand Theft Auto VI this fall. The offer applies to eligible soldiers assigned to the 9th Brigade Engineer Battalion at Fort Stewart, which is part of the 3rd Infantry Division. According to Army officials, the leave period is designed to coincide with the Nov. 19 release of Rockstar Games’ long-awaited title, Variety said.
