Fountain Hill Fall & Holiday Events 2026
Schedule leaf pickup, celebrate Books on the Hill’s 5th birthday, and join seasonal events from October through December.
Books on the Hill 5th Birthday – October 3, 2026 12 noon – 2 p.m. The Bethlehem Area Public Library branch is celebrating its time in the Fountain Hill community with games, treats, a special craft, and bookish fun.
Leaf Pickup Starting October 15 – During leaf collection season, call Borough Hall at 610-867-0301 ext. 1 to schedule a time for your leaves to be picked up,
Trunk or Treat – October 30, 2026, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. – Join us at the Fountain Hill Fire Company at 950 Cherokee Street, in your spookiest costume, and join us for a safe trick-or-treat event!
Tree Lighting – December 6, 2026 at 4:30 p.m. – The Borough of Fountain Hill will once again host a tree lighting on December 6th at 4:30. Join us in front of the fire company at 950 Cherokee St. to ring in the Holiday Season. Broughal Middle School Band will be there to add to the cheer. There will also be an appearance by a special guest. HO HO HO.
Christmas Tree Sale – The Fountain Hill Fire Company will host a Christmas Tree Sale starting on Friday, November 27, 2026. Check their Facebook page for details.
Holiday Decorating Contest – Keep an eye on the borough’s Facebook page for the dates of the Holiday Decorating Contests! One for Halloween and one for Christmas. Amazon Gift Cards will be awarded to the best decorations!
Santa Run – The Fountain Hill Fire Company will escort Santa to deliver gifts to children in Fountain Hill in the month of December. To participate, drop a wrapped gift with the address, child’s name, and contact number to the Fire Company at 950 Cherokee Street on Monday, November 14, 21, or 28, or December 7, between 6 and 8 p.m.
