George Virgil Dayton Jr. arrested on stalking, terroristic threats charges
Forks Township police say the suspect sent a series of threatening texts; he was arrested in Atlantic City and is awaiting extradition to Pennsylvania.
On September 18, 2026, Forks Township officers met with a victim who presented a series of text messages alleging threats to stalk and harm them from a man identified as 51-year-old George Virgil Dayton Jr. of 1604 Sullivan Trl, Easton, PA. An arrest warrant was issued charging Dayton with one count of stalking (F3) and one count of terroristic threats (M1) in case MJ-30209-CR-0000155-2026; he was taken into custody by the Atlantic City (N.J.) Police Department hours later and is being held at Atlantic County Jail pending extradition to Pennsylvania.
