Hanover Borough police logged reports from Aug. 21–24, 2026 including a phone fraud, retail thefts, multiple crashes, disturbances and pending DUI and public intoxication charges.
The Hanover Borough Police Department reported incidents from Friday, Aug. 21 through Monday, Aug. 24, 2026, including a phone-scam fraud in the 200 block of Carlisle Street, multiple disturbances and juvenile trespass reports, and retail theft investigations at businesses on Eisenhower Drive. Crashes with no injuries or tow outcomes were logged at Moul and Wilson avenues, Frederick and N. Franklin streets, Carlisle and W. Elm Avenue, and Frederick Street; named drivers involved include Alex Rivera-Keith, Mary-Margaret Rinaolo, Aaron Cohan, Joseph Carver, Lois Strous and Melissa Freeman. Police also cited Emily York for harassment, reported a pending DUI charge against a 21-year-old Abbottstown man, and a pending public drunkenness charge against a 42-year-old Hanover woman; several incidents remain under investigation.
