Hanover Borough Police reported multiple incidents on Aug. 5, 2026: at 10:11 a.m. a 2026 Chevrolet Suburban driven by Jeffrey Spielman of Hanover struck an e‑bike operated by Jacob Lagatare of Hanover; no injuries and no tow were required. Later incidents included a 12:41 p.m. collision at York and E. Walnut involving a 2010 Honda Odyssey driven by Madison Downing of Fairfield and a 2003 Honda CRV driven by Janice Strevig of Littlestown (minor injuries and towing required), a 10:15 a.m. report of unauthorized use of personal identifying information on Dart Manor Court, and an 8:18 p.m. missing‑person report for a 19‑year‑old Hanover woman in the 200 block of N. Franklin Street.
